When is the right time for a guy or lady to settle down for marriage?

Question:
When is the right time for a man/boy/guy or girl/lady/female to settle down (get married)?

Answer:
It depends on a lot of factors such as:

• Your financial status: It takes money to plan a wedding, and get married, and to keep a home (wife & children). If you have a job or business that pays you satisfactorily, then you are ready.
• Your emotional stability: Can you handle the emotional pressure and demands yet? How would you react if you see your spouse constantly among the opposite sex or how would you feel if your partner calls you an idiot in public? If you have good sense of self control with your emotion, you are ready.
• When you decide to stop playing around: If you have gotten to a stage in your life where you tired of jumping from one relationship to another, then you are ready to settle.
• When you are above 25: If you care about raising children with your spouse, then start as early before you are 25 years or before 30 at most. The reason is so that your kids will be able to grow to adults before you grow really old. Try as much as possible to avoid falling victim of peer pressure. Pressure can lead you in taking the wrong steps.
• When you have read/listen to at least 3 books/tapes on marriages: Try as much as possible to learn what to expect from people who have been into it and are enjoying a successful marital life.
• When you have found the love of your life: I don't think you should waste any time again. If you find someone who you love and feels the same about you, proceed immediately. Your partner is never yours until you are married.
